Ava Compitiello, originally from South Florida, is currently a sophomore in the undergraduate nuclear engineering program at the University of Florida. She is also a member of the Optical Science and Non-Proliferation Research Group led by Dr. Hartig. This past summer she completed an internship at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C., within the Optical Sciences Division. This year she will be participating in the University Scholars Program and is excited for the year ahead!
